With car running

1)Open VAG-COM
2)Click on "Select" Button under the heading "Select Control MOdule"
3)Click "01-Engine" Button
4)Click "Measuring Blocks -08"
5)Either type the block number you want to record (in this case 003) in the box under group or use the up-down buttons just to the right of it. As soon as you enter a value or use the Up-Down buttons you will see the measurement values appear in the boxes to the right. You can choose up to 3 different blocks. The more you choose the more time there will be between data points because it has more things to check.
6)Click "Log"
7)Enter name of file you want to record the data in, in the box that appears, or just use the one they give you. If the name is the same as a file that already exists it will not overwrite that file, VAG-COM will just append the new data on at the end of the existing file.
8)Click "Start" Car is now logging data. I usually don't do this until right before I put the pedal down. That way you don't get a bunch of extra data to delete out of the log.
9)Click "Stop" No more logging.
