    In Reply to: so does that mean the VR6's run significantly hotter? this isn't the first post i've seen posted by Andrew C::FATS on 2004-04-21 11:09:59

    The sensor listed previously, 357 919 369 E, runs the electric fan / A/C. VR6's use a 3 stage sensor for it; turns on at 112C and off at 108C....and it turns off the A/C at 119C. Probably runs high speed for the electric fan.

    Looking closer; the after-run pump is run by sensor, 701 919 369 D. This is a 20mm, 4-pin sensor and also serves as the temperature sensor. This sensor switches closed at 100C and opens at 95C.

    VR6 (#5-369D and #7-369E):

    S4 (#3A):

    Note: Auto VR6's without A/C use the S4 sensor, 357 919 369 F.

    Current Audi Count ---> 5

    Previous Audi Count ---> 7

    In spite of dealers; I still love Audi :-)
