... keep the turbine shafts physically moving during cooldown to prevent "spindle droop" & subsequent bearing failure. The hardening of burnt oil - coking - is the biggest potential problem. It's nice that coolant is recirculated after shutdown, but that's hardly enough.
Regardless of what the naysayers have to... err, say, do a turbo timer. They're cheap & simple to install... & those w/ hardworking turbocharged cars have been using 'em for years.
