    That is not what I am saying at all. I'm saying the pump won't run until 250 or so.

    You should stay out of boost the last couple min no matter what. You rarely need to to wait to shut down your car if you do so. As long as my gauge shows me below 225 (99% of the time) and I stayed out of boost for a min or two before reaching my destination, I shut down instantly.
