    Many have asked if they should use an MBC as a means to increase boost much as you would with a DSM or Subaru. The answer to that is "no". It's not recomended.

    In this context, we are actually using the MBC to control boost spikes and effectively limit the maxium boost allowed. You need to at least have chipped software to provide enriched fuel and timing maps for higher boost pressures.

    For people's KO3 needs, I recomend running the MBC in parallel with the N75 if you are interested in having more control over the boost curve. This means that the computer and N75 still controls the boost curve and wastegate duty cycle until your preset boost pressure is met.
