Comp Wheel comparo
This photo shows four compressor wheels:
Garret GT25R
HSSSK04-5
K04
K03
The KKK wheels have less blades. This maximizes the area between the
blades and helps to increase flow capabilities. The straighter blades
deliver faster response and work at slower operating speeds. In this instance
KKK seems to have a more modern wheel.
The HSSSK04-5 compressor wheel along with the fact that the HSSSK04-5 turbine
is a tighter more responsive a/r (relative to a GT25r)with about the same
if not less turbine wheel flow will provide a better all around power band
for a street car that doesn't drive like a 600hp 1.8L Honda engine
( i.e. nothing until 9000 rpm)

A wolf in sheep's clothing. A real upgrade that fits like an oem part!

These turbos are using RS4K04 compressor and turbine housing. $$ to use,
but offer a true direct fit. This is one of the reasons for the high cost.
KKK does not offer separate parts. So there are lots of spares left over
after these units are assembled.
Take a look at the golden/brown color of the turbine housing. It indicates
a higher nickel content that is more resistant to temperature.

Compressor map of an RS4 K04 vs. HSSSK04-5
Notice how the HSSS map goes much further to the right and up. This shows
a greater capacity for airflow and sustained boost at high rpm and airflow.
These turbos are hand assembled and machined by the crew Innovative Turbo System. A group of people that I think very highly of.
They are a combination of a few different KKK parts. Please do not ask me
what they are. I have not asked, and even if I knew I will not tell you.
These turbos are capable of 600-625 on a properly prepped motor and are a
direct replacement for RS4 turbos. Before you all die with sticker shock, I hope you all realize
that 2-3 turbos get gutted to make these and there is a lot of labor involved.
Also to get bigger turbos that may have questionable benefits you will need different manifolds,
down-pipes, oil and water fittings and two turbos. These may look like a bargain.
The pricing is as follows:
$4500 outright, Introductory price of $4000
$2240 with your supplied RS4 comp housing, turbine housing, waste-gate and actuator.
Please note that Torque-Factory, or Innovative Turbo has nothing to do with your
tuning and engine setup. This is up to you!
At this time we have enough parts to assemble 4-6 cartridges. ITS is currently back-ordered on RS4 turbos. These are needed for the donation of there compressor housing and turbine housing. So there will be a delay until either suitable cores
are found, or RS4 turbos come back in.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to purchase.

Hey Josh
Still havn't seen that replacement flex hose show up. IC install is going on this weekend, as well as dyno runs... I know that collapsed hose is hurting my airflow, and will ulitmately affect my numbers. Any idea where/when it'll be here?
