Spikes happen on shifts, not flooring it from 4000 RPM.
If you are spiking from a 4k floor, then there would be something else to look at. If you do some logging you will clearly see this, a boost gauge is not conclusive IMO. I'm not saying everyone has spikes (although I a lot of software/downpipe or even software/exhaust combos will cause it) but if you do it happens on shifting. Example Floor it to 6000RPM, shift back on WOT - spikes to 10PSI, back down to 9PSI shift back on WOT - spikes to 10PSI, back down to 9PSI etc. etc. -st 2008(9?) S5 - ordered 3/29/08 |
