    With regard to the 16G, since it was mentioned and information is readily available. It looks like for a given air flow they can achieve a significant increase in the P/R simply by changing the compressor wheel. Therefore, compressing more air, more air = more HP, with fuel of course.

    Looks like a P/R (inside the eff range of course) of about 2.7 or so with the "small" wheel and 2.85 with the "big" wheel. So right there you have a significant increase in CFM.
