    How about the fact that the cams need to have enough lift and duration for that to happen?

    How about the higher flow keeps the outlet temps down? Lower compression allows for higher cyinder pack and lowers the risk of detonation by keeping the cumbustion pressures lower.


    Outlet temp drops whenever there is a presssure drop, like at the intercooler.
