Default stock airbox vs. stock/hole vs. darintake vs. darintake with chip airflow...

Ok, I think I have exhausted the usefull permutations of the airbox configurations. Except maybe with a screen over the airbox hole...
All runs done in same relative humidity, 60 deg F, same stretch of road, etc... On my car the AWE S-flo (with the new ITG larger filter alla Darintake) gives about 10 g/s over the stock filter. No 25 g/s, but not bad either.

Plotting that against RPM's might be more useful.

That would be more accurate wouldn't it. I'll get on it when I get home : )

I think it is the same idea (hole in box) except for an RS4 airbox

Default Here are the 6400 rpm #'s

I can tell you that at 6400 rpm:

stock box/filter 210 g/s
stock filter/hole 220 g/s
darintake 230 g/s
darintake/chip 264 g/s

I hope this helps...

Default Was your Darintake done with the hole in the box -- I would like to see the impact of the Darintake

filter (S-Flo) but with the hole plugged up.

I'd like to see these plotted against the EVO Intake, please...

Default Looks good - did you happen to check barometric pressure on the diff days?

I've found g/sec will vary by as much as 10 g/sec on a low pressure day vs. high pressure, same temperature. Your stock gains look a tad optimistic, more than I would have expected anyway!
