you can blow a turbo either way. I dragged the car 2 times a week for nearly 4 months after having spent 25k miles on my car and as i said never blew anything. I never let my car cool off, i floored it with the engine cold. I'm better about that stuff now but I think more of it is sh!t luck then anythign else.
