My opinions are based on the tests that we've conducted

and IMO, the tests are pretty damm fair.. Run car 'A' with the x-chip, and car 'B' with APRs v3.3.. do about 5 runs at various speeds (start in the powerband of the slower car), and then swap ecus.. Do another 5 runs at various speeds.. The results were the same both times.. the apr chipped S4 would lose by about the same length every time.. Back when I had the x-chip in my TT and the car was running right I was able to hang with the v3.2 APR S4, but got beat up by the x-chip.. I did a few runs with an S4 running the v3.2 program and from 80 and up no one pulled.. it was dead even.. IMO, not impressive.. All our runs were done on 93 or 94 octane.. We wanted to see how the cars ran in their daily driver setup..
