you might want to try squeezing the rubber channel together. The trim rubber that slips over the metal body lip usually has metal molded into the rubber. It widens over time and can't hold.. so if you use both hands and squeeze it down the full length it might tighten up enough to fit tightly to the metal lip.

I haven't done this on the audi but I'm pretty sure it's the same as most other cars.
