Wow, the BMW 335i turbos are much smaller than K03's!

was reading about the 335 on european cars and...
the only reason they went with 2 turbos was because of space.

It's not about boost, it's about airflow...
and the BMW motor peaks at 0.6 bar.
It's 3 liters by the way.
With all things being equal, the turbos are under the same strain if you're boosting a 2.0 liter to 1 bar or a 4.0 liter engine to 0.5 bar.

how is that engine mounted in the bay? i think if someone engineered some new exhaust manifolds ..
larger turbos would not be a problem so long as there is room to move the manifolds a bit
