Who has had their block bored or honed WITHOUT torque/honing plates?

hey bud, hope you had a nice trip
I think I am holding off on the snails for now and just focusing on getting this damn engine/heads built 
Hence the <cough> about the torque plate topic, haha. I still have yet to decide on a machine shop but I think I found a local place. I need to get off my **** and go down and talk with them one of these days

cool, glad you had a nice time
vacations are great but it is always nice to get back and sleep in your own bed. My GF is weird, she likes to clean the entire place before we go on vaca so when we get back everything is all nice, haha.
