who do you guys recommend to rebuild an ABS control module?

Default FWIW i think they do that to cover their own ***... if they came off saying oh yeah it will be NO

PROBLEM and then turn around and say oh sorry cant fix it, you would be disappointed. if they are like well its a russian roulette kind of deal and it ends up fixed you would be excited and quite satisfied, esp with a 5 year warranty

Default Re: no way jose, easy rebuild. i got mine done for $100 vs $500+ for a new unit

I had mine rebuilt for $150 or so from an ebay company in MA for my A6 (just got my S4 today, booyah!). Turnaround was quick and it was pretty easy to install. My independent mechanic quoted $1200 or so for the Audi part (both electronic and hydraulic) and recently told me that Audi now has a kit that's in the $500 range - probably just for the control module.
