whats the general thought on installing dv's "upside down"?

Default I have a hard enough time just doing a head-stand, let alone installing stuff at the same time.

Default Don't do it. If your N249 fails with the DV's installed correctly, they will still open with a

boost spike (chopping the throttle at full boost). Installing them upside down will keep full boost all the time, unless vacuum is applied to the valve. As long as the N249 is going to manifold pressure, the DV's will stay closed.

Default i have deleted my n249. Why would there be such a problem? I know Dahlback tells you to install

there dv's :upside down...?

Default Not an issue with OEM style. There is a lip around the diaphragm that will allow boost

to lift it up even if the valve is installed with the face of the diaphragm facing the low pressure side of the intake.
