What psi does a bone stock s4 run?(more/long.......)
the reason i ask this is on the way home from taking some movies to Hollywood video this 1st/2nd generation eclipse gs pulls up next to me and starts revving hard, so im like, sure, why not. He had the whole nine yards, stickers, rims, exhaust, blow off valves(u can definitely hear them) etc etc. So we take off and i eat him up. The next light he's like, yea, it would be closer if my second gear would engage, im having problems with it. I quickly ask him what turbo he's got and then think hmm "so what psi?".....get this, he was running 19 psi!!!!! He then says, your running the same thing right? so we are pretty close! I was like, yea right. anyways, pretty fast car but damn, he's gonna ruin that engine isn't he? sorry so long, kinda bored!

You can run 18-19 psi on an Ecilpse because..
the compression ratio is much lower than the S4, my old Spyder GS-T ran well with 18-19 psi with a larger 16G Turbo, it could even run 24 psi all the way to redline with 100 octane. Also had fuel pump, regulato, AFC fuel control and Profec Boost control, plus the usual intake and exhaust stuff.
It dyno'd at 260 HP at the wheels with 275 Lb Ft of torque with 93 octane and 19.5 psi from 3500 rpm to redline, not bad for a 2.0L.
