2001 laser red s4. I am getting a "brake light" warning that beeps obnoxiously. All of my lights work. I bought the car with LED taillights. Today I bought some stock taillights to fix the problem, and upon putting them in, the problem didn't fix. I went and bought new bulbs after that. Still didnt fix it. All my lights are working but my car thinks otherwise.

Does anyone know how I can track down the problem. I am prepared to buy a multimeter, and learn how to use it to fix this problem.

Might be brake light switch at pedal. Sometimes will trigger warning while bulbs still light. All bulbs should have silver colored contacts. Brass contact bulbs can trigger warning. Is center high brake light working?
