Words don't really express how angry it makes me to read about this incident. Hopefully insurance will cooperate and help you get your ride back, but maybe now is a good time to step away and move on? Good luck with it!

There can't be that many kits like that out there. Keep an eye out at the local dragstrips for a fast car that the driver won't pop the hood on..

I have a list of around 40 peoples' names, address and # who own intakes...
and a lot of people here have a pretty good idea who these people are. If an intake shows up at a GTG, shop or such, somebody ping me and I'd be happy to trace it.
The only really meaningful thing stolen from me was a (brand-new) '93 CBR900RR, black/silver/red. I worked at the dealership and uncrated and built that bike myself. I was CRUSHED when it got nicked. Never been so attached to a bike before or since.
