Is the upper oil pan seal just sealant? Or is it an actual gasket?

Default I already looked at it with all the covers and accessory belt off...

and couldn't find the source. It was leaking from the drivers side cam area a little, but I have replaced all of the top end seals and it still streams out from somewhere. I had the harmonic balancer on when I ran the engine, so it would be hard to see if it was the crank seal. I just see oil dripping in the center near the crank, but the timing belt slings oil all over everything...so it drips from everywhere and collects in the middle of the engine in front anyway.

Could it be anything other than the crank seal?

Thanks for your help man.

Default Oil pan, crank seal or the crank plate itself (it has a metal gasket behind it).

Hose the area down with brake cleaner and then run it... might make it easier to pinpoint the fresh oil w/o all the gunk.

But you are probably gonna have to pull the harmonic balancer pulley to get a good look at the seal behind it.

Default They're cheap on Ebay.

If you end up having to take the crank pulley off, you're gonna want to have the cam bar too.
