For those of you keeping up with Mike Klenners (SkydiveS4) accident I have good news

That's what I was thinking.
I've never really considered that a difficult turn. The "dip" and surface change are more memorable places to be careful. It could be that because I have driven that road literally over a hundred times, I just know how to take the turn without giving it any thought. Next time I go, I will pay particular attention.

Kaz, it seems like he may have just hammered it coming out....
of the double-apex righthander and didn't expect that the lefthander that immediately follows. Hmmmmm. It doesn't look like he even attempted to turn.

Yeah even though I've driven that road countless times, I still have trouble with that turn
Probably because my car already pushes to begin with and that corner magnifies it. I usually use trailing throttle (this is where I learned how it really works) there to make sure the car gets turned around and pointed in the direction of the road to apply WOT. I could never hammer completely through that turn. Really pushing it in the turn would make my car understeer out...which looks exactly like what Mike did. Just speculation though.

I thought it looked familiar, pics are probably with the hood up to cool off

In general it is taken upwards.
The road is about 4 miles long IIRC. Stunt is generally taken from Mulholland up to "top of the world." For most local canyon runners, it is the first leg of what is generally referred to as "the ring" (Stunt, Scheurn, Piuma, and Cold Cyn).
