Is there supposed to be an o-ring on the temp sensor on lower rad. hose?

Is there supposed to be an o-ring on the temp sensor on lower rad. hose?
The last thing I need to do before starting my car after 2 weeks of work and waiting is fill the radiator, but the temperature sensor will not seal... I think I lost a damn o-ring somehow!

Got it!
I searched everywhere and then went back and searched my drain pan again, since I thought that was the most likely place it would end up - Sure enough it was in there! I had to hold the (transparent) pan up over a 500 watt work light and only then was just BARELY able to make out the circle shape through the murk of the old coolant (that stuff was nasty!)
I was really worried it fell into the lower rad hose and I was going to have to completely disassemble the rad support again to fish around in there.
Disaster averted, thanks guys!
