Sent s4 to audi to get security lockout fixed and they put the code in and it worked. wtf?!?!

i was dumbfounded i tryed it 10000 times and they got it on the 4 or 5th try. they turned it back on and shut it off the first try. wtf. got a new key for 65 without remote if anyone wants to get a spare.

You took your S4 to your Audi Dealership because your APR security lockout code didn't work, or are you talking about the radio code after power loss?

my apr security lockout program stopped working and i could not turn the program off to start my car. I brought it to audi and they put the code in 3 or 4 times and got it to turn off. today they called me and said that i needed a new cruise control stalk and it would cost 450 installed. i told them to go f*ck themselves. lol

wtf. How much did they charge to put in the code?
Cruise control stalks have been known to go bad with excessive usage, so you really might need to replace it. Shop online/classifieds for a used one.
Why in the world would you take it to a Audi dealership? Keep a 2nd ECU available for such circumstances.
