Default S4Poor, you gotta stop recommending that Isspro gauge - I should have gotten the AWE one

since I SUCK at being a machinist. The gauge works great, looks great, but I totally fuxored drilling the hole in the center vent. It got pretty busted up when the drill press grabbed it and started spinning it across the supports I was using to level it out. For those that CAN drill the hole in the vent neatly, it's a great gauge!

New center vent from stealer - $183. Add that to the cost of the gauge, hose kit, bulbs, and shipping, and I *think* it's pretty close to the Xmas special AWE was running.

OK - so 2 questions. Where else can I get another center vent for less than stealer? And how does one fixture the gauge and drill it? Vise and hand drill? I was using a brand new 2" hole saw with 1/4" pilot bit on a delta stand up drill press :-/

Not as easy to get perfectly round hole, need a real attention span.

Yea, I wish my gauge would fade. Then find out it can't be fixed. What's Cheesy?

Default Use a fine tooth hole saw. One made for a metal fire door, not wood door.

It wont grab and destroy the vent. You can get a vent for an A4 from Dad's etc. for less than $20.

Sorry man.

or a plastic cutter works great (like metal snips but much smaller)
