S4 Shootout (4.5mb BWW)
#16
thanks for posting this ;-) well what can I say...
they have everthing wrong on what's on my car ;-) - H&R? - 2.7? -RS4 Injectors? and so on
well - the scoreing is silly - thats all ;-(
Ari won - If the bullet finished, he would have won
The sportec car was nice - but not the best !
If everybody had the same opportunities as Josh with their dyno runs - they may have made more hp (cleaned out the air in the unit and played with the dyno computer - not good) - the 362 whp should have been thrown out - IMO ;-)
It was a good "crack" but not really the challenge I thought it was going to be.
I doubt if I'll be going to another one ;-)
fire away haters - it's just my opinion ;-)

They need to bring euro car to the EAST COAST
European Car needs to come to the east coast and check out our s4's, because those times they have posted are by far the worst I've ever seen.

Chris, his car 8.3 secs slower in lap time. 8 seconds! Do you know how great that time differentia
l is around the streets! 8 Seconds. That would be the equivalent of a 15.1 second 1/4 mile at the shootout.
Had you and mark not suffered dnf's in the road course event - you would have been 1-2 with the numbers you could/would put up.
To say that a car should win that finishes 8 secs behind the 1st place finisher in the lap time is absurd. That would be like having the winner dyno 240hp or run a 15.1 sec 1/4 (as stated above) or brake from 80 in 255 ft.
They are all the same, IMO.

"it was the only one of this group we drove that behaved like our idea of a performance car"
good job ASW - its nice to see others see that its not peak power that always counts but smoothness and driveability.
