Default S4 down!

I started my car before work today (it's -6 outside btw), and 5 minutes later there was about 4 quarts of oil on the ground where my S4 was parked. So, I shut her down and rolled it back in the garage.

Upon inspection, I only see oil sprayed all over the front of the engine..(thanks serp. belt)... and underneath looks good, just oil dripping from the front.

Anyone have this happen? I can only imagine its a crank seal or oil pump....neither of which excite me....

Thanks to anyone who can offer a bit of help on the matter...

Nope...filter is tight. It's something on the front of the engine...

Default Ouch, Bummer Tom! Got some place to look at it? I'd help but currently in AZ (the state, not site)

By the sound of the location, I'd agree with a start of checking cam seals but that sounds like a lot of oil.

GL and I hope all works out.

Default dunno what else to tell ya. pull the radiator support off.

if it were anything easily accessible (i.e., on or near bottom), you would only have oil on the ground and nothing above.

drain coolant and pull bumper and radiator supp. off so you can take a look, report back
