Default rear loose in wet! quattro not kicking in properly...

I am new to my S4 and I am not so sure if I am relying too much on Quattro, but my car doesn't seem to do great in wet and the rear fish tails and loses traction quite badly in wet.

I am on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, and when I had the exact same tires on my B6 A4, could do A LOT in the rain with quattro, The S4 seems to be even worse in the rain than my GTI!!! Something seems to be wrong, maybe quattro not distributing power properly? is that possible without major engine checklight?
