You're cruising home from work or school and you pull up next to your buddy at a stoplight. He's in his (insert fast car of choice here) and you're in your S4. You figure, what the hell lets race. You do a mild launch, then get on it. You win the race and slow back down (from say... 100mph)... All of a sudden, radar detector goes bonkers and you see cop pretty far behind you with his lights on and you're pretty sure he's hauling *** after you or your buddy. You've got a good 10 seconds to make a descison.
What would YOU do in this situation? I'm not looking for smartass remarks like: "street racing is so ghey I would never do that, your a psycho idiot for asking this question." Just curious as to how you all would react. Would you slow to the speed limit and continue driving? Would you pull off and wait for the cop to write you a huge ticket, in hopes that he might go after your buddy instead? Would you try to lose the cop?
Again, I'm just curious... thought it might be an interesting discussion.

Since his lights are on I would pull over, turn dome light on, roll window down, put hands on wheel,
and hopefully remember not to crap all over the pretty silver alcantara inserts.

Depends on the area (how escapable it is)...
and given my buddy is in the same mindset, split up and one of us is getting away. Basically make a bunch of turns repeatedly and within resonable speed, so I could contest I wasn't running. "Who me?" (Note: only done this once, and that was on my bike, with about 100+ other bikes, so my odds were good that once)

Hope he gets your buddy and not you...
...because if he gets both of you he might be more likely to hit you with a racing charge. And subtle use of the parking brake might be recommended.

Slow to speed limit and take next side street.
You'd have a 50/50 chance (he'd have to choose which one he wants to pull over) and your not doing anything MORE illegal/stupid.
