Default My friend almost bought that car a few weeks ago but due to PPI he passed...

A few minor issues with that car. Nothing major. We did note that three of the four rims had minor bends in them though so you may want to have them checked out. KMD did the PPI and found a leaking rear diff, Suspension that needed work, broken motor mounts and a few other minor maintenance things.

It was a nice car. Just that my friend wanted something mint, that needed no work so this car was not for him.

Good luck with it though! It is beautiful...

Of note: after he passed on the car. I read on another forum that it was recently hit (and fixed). I DO NOT KNOW if this is TRUE or not. But just thought I would mention it.....

Default Badge is a skip imo.... it's on the wrong side anyways.

Being picky... black wheels with polished lip is played out, imo. But overall it is a total hit. Congrats.

I noticed the lips on a few of the wheels have minor bends. So far, the wheels are holding pressure. I brought it up to 100mph and no vibrations. So I think the damage is from a little curbage and should be ok.

The rear diff seal I was not aware as well as the motor mount. I wouldnt even know how to diagnose a broken mount just by the way the car feels.

The suspension feels great. It needs a new set of tires though. It has full cpp links all way around. The rear is solid, however the front is clanky under certain conditions. For know, I think the fronts arms have a little life left. They are spherical so they will clank and make noise.

He did admit it was hit and the carfax said so also. I took that one on good faith. The repair work looks flawless to me. I felt no negative handling characteristics of the car either. He said it was just the front fender, and door skins that were damaged, No structural or suspension damage...but thats what everyone would say.

Regardless. I love the car. I knew it would need repairs and thank you for sharing for your findings. I will definately check them out.

This car is not a daily driver. Its more of a project for me. Someday I would like to build a 3.0t gt28rs motor, but not anytime soon. I just want to enjoy it right now.

Do you have any specifics that I should know about? And I dont want to sound like an idiot but whats a ppi? Is that a compression test or a pressure test?
