Pittsburgh, PA S4 Ownerss
Hello, all, from a new guy.
Just got stationed up here and just bought an 02 Stock Santorini S4, 6-Speed with 35K (now has 38.5). Thought I'ld ask the basics: where everyone gets their work done around here, maintenance & upgrades. I've got original warranty until 11-05, Audi assured until 11-07.
I'm in the Army, so I've been through the ordeal of maintenance, and worse, warranty work requested through a dealer other than where you purchased it. Who's solid around here, and are there any recommendations anyone here's got for suggested mods/fixes to known trouble areas? I've got an 02, so I hope most of the kinks were worked out of the design, but I've seen some pretty terrible postings on blown turbos from TBB and other issues.
Scheduled for first local service at Sewickley Audi next wednesday. Appreciate any advise.

There's a few Pittsburgh folks around here...
I bought mine at Sewickley and go there for regular service. Good bunch of guys...no complaints so far. They replaced my turbos under warranty when they blew at ~22k (stock, not chipped) and are fairly easy to work with. They'll also provide a loaner Audi if you schedule in advance for service.
Where in Pgh are you? I'll keep an eye out for your Santorin!

Yeah, saw some good postings about Sewickley. Any info on the rest? (Maint/Mods/Problems/Shop?)
Steelers were pretty good. Saw the Reg. Season game against the Pats.

There are 2-3 other S4 Pittsburghers around here. Stay away from "85-4kq-girl" though. She's just plain weird. Kidding Morgan. :-)
Sewickley is by far the best dealer in town. Aaron and Matt are the two services advisors over there. Both of them are cool. Morgan and I have been known to take them and the Techs pizza from time to time. Just drop our names and you should be ok. :-)

Thanks, I apprecite that. Yeah, I've been to their dealership a few times looking to see if they could entertain me for an 01-02 S4, but my opportunity came a few weeks ago up in Albany, NY. It's certainly a world away from my previous car. Great Car, but I'ld like to have it around for the long haul.
