Why so many B5s?

Got the car for myself...but ended up selling to Sharon's brother (Sharon owns the monster S4 called THWAP) because he and his wife were having a baby and all they owned were 911 Porsches. I picked up another A4 in its place a couple of weeks later. I personally like the 2000 cars better than the 1999..(dash/radio/homelink/etc)

Lets see...wanted an Audi..got an A4...originally wanted a 1.8T..sorta settled on a 2.8 12V....figured out a way to afford a 2000 S4...ended up getting AoA to buy it back and replace it with a 2001 S4 Avant. Had that for a year...but ended up getting a divorce, changing jobs, and building a race car..couldn't afford an S4 Avant, a tow vehicle, and a race car..so the S4 Avant was sold back to a dealer for $34K. Got sick of driving my tow vehicle as a daily driver, decided to try an A4 1.8T this time...and didn't want loan/lease payments..so I bought with cash a used A4 1.8T for $13.2K. Modified it slightly, but not much..and use it as my daily driver now. Have considered a new B6..but the price, excess weight, and poor power to weight ratio have held me back so far. Really would consider a B6 A4 3.2 250 bhp car if one was sold. I think it is coming..just not sure of exactly when. The new B6 S4 is just too expensive for me right now.

Started with the '01 Avant in February 2001. Street raced, road raced and daily driven until I drove it off the side of a hill in November 2003.
