Default 750!

Nothing like a V-Twin.

For a first timer on the street, get a 600. 1000 will get you in trouble.

Default Go with the 600 Darin. It's less hyper, and less likely to get you

in trouble. I've had ZX6's and 7's and ridden liter bikes. A 600 is PLENTY fast. You will be surprised how quick that ZX6r is !

BTW, thanks for the spoiler

Default That is suprisingly close, but wheel inertia is the biggest factor when leaning over quickly.

That big fat tire/wheel out back has got to make a big difference in feel.

Default My friend has the 636, and another friend has the new R6...

Definately get the R6. The litre bikes are just good for going in a straight line. The 6's handle so much better.

Becides, the 636 has like, 123 hp and weighs just over 300 lbs... There's a 'euro' mod you can do to the ECU to pick up like 3 or 4 more hp.

My buddy is like 6'1", 220 and he rides hard and fast. The 6 is more than enough bike for anyone!

Don't overlook the new R6 though... it's a badmotorfinger.

Default To answer your question directly... you will NOT be disapointed by a 600.

See my reply elsewhere in the thread.

The current breed of 600's are just wicked fast and handle / tip amazingly.

Also keep in mind, insurance is more on a litre bike.
