Default Yes, you have to remove everything in the glovebox area and it's a PITA.

You can get the old one out from below, but it is nearly impossible to put the new one in and turn it to lock into place from below. It's easier to place it in the hole from below, then gently turn it with pliers from on top where the pollen filter is.

Default nope - there are two of them. The one in front of the radiator is easy. The one under the pollen...

filter is a PITA. I've replaced mine.

You need to go from below, reach up and basically do everything by feel.
