Now my head hurts...........
<center><img src="http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/products/awe/rsk04/RSK04_race_vs_pump.jpg"></center><p>
I took this graph right off AWE's web site, showing they advertise the average customer with thier kit and supporting mods like DP's exhaust, and IC's should expect to see something like 365 whp on pump, and 415 whp on race, on AWE's dyno.
Now we have ErikS4 with what is listed as an off the shelf AWE stage 3, with DP's and exhaust (I am unsure on the intercoolers) on a pump gas program, making over 435 whp at EPL, on the exact same type of dyno. He may have been on 112 octane, but a 70 whp difference from race fuel on the same software is tough to swallow.
So either the dynos are calibrated very differently, AWE is showing conservative numbers, or ErikS4 is running a race fuel file and doesn't realize it.
Just figured I'd stir the pot some more :-)

All dynos read differently first of all. I've been on 4 dynos now and EPLs reads the highest by far
I do have AWE intercoolers to clarify. If the race profile made more power, I would have used it. I had my laptop with me and could have switched it. At a different dyno, I saw no gain on the race profile. Just a different mix of boost and timing.
My car is off the shelf AWE... without the manifolds/headers. I also have Milltek DPs and exhaust, AWE lightened flywheel, samco hoses.
Just lucky to have gotten a good motor I guess.
Rennen Performance in Maine did the install on all of the above except ICs. They can verify.

Thanks for your clarification- please don't think I'm bashing you or singling you out...
I'm just wondering if "most" AWE stage 3 cars make numbers like yours at EPL.

Something I noticed as well. I've been comparing my FATS to their cars. I'm consistently pulling ...
3.35 - 3.5 FATS. The time of the pull is almost pointless (altitude, uphill, downhill, etc.) but I did notice that my timing curve and airflow is every bit as strong as compared to some of the ASP cars. My CF's were only 0 - 6.
That being said, I've heard Mustang Dyno's read the highest of all of them. IIRC that is what EPL used. I've heard Maha are the best.
Dyno's read different power numbers from dyno to dyno. Considerably different.
The search for comparison power continues ...
FWIW I'm focusing more on a sweet spot of my AFR. I'm experimenting with different combinations. There *might* still be some power left.

Ok........I don't know if allroad tuning is any different, or if the fact that.....
the differences in gearing, tire sizes, and weight play a role in the difference.
AWE should be able to clarify.
