APR or JHM for Exhaust?
What I have: 2001.5 S4 6 speed, K04s, Baily Motorsports DVs, Vast 5 bar FPR, J-Fonz Stage 3- tuning (otherwise stock)
Now that I have my full time job, I'm looking more into getting an turbo back exhaust system to compliment the K04s. Originally I thought I was decided on the JHM 2.5" true dual exhaust with Borla mufflers and high flow cats. Sounds great and pricing seems fair but I have to have it shipped across the country.
On the other hand, I get a discount on parts at my new job and can get the APR 2.5" downpipes and 3" RSC cat-back for a good deal cheaper then normal, plus no shipping. This route will still come out to a few hundred dollars more then the JHM with shipping.
I don't want a raspy sound and both sound pretty good but the APR video kept hitting the rev limiter when revving at a standstill and it was bothering me. Anyway I'd like everyone's opinions on which sounds better, performs better, and quality.
