Still getting that slight overheating problem when idling for a long time. A/C compressor also shuts off every so often. Just had the water pump changed and now the overheating doesn't come as fast but it still gets there. My aux fan in front of the radiator also run at high speed for the majority of the time and also stays on after I turn the car off. I figure either that fan or the other elec fan behind the radiator is broken. I know there was a write up on how the change the one in back of the radiator without removing the front bumper but can the same be done for the one in front of the radiator. I looked last night and saw two bolts and a bar that seems to hold the fan in place. I'm not sure if there's anything below that is not accessible with the bumper on though. Has anyone changed this fan as a DIY project?

Sounds like it is compensating for the other one. Could be a bad switch.

Could be the other fan though but I'm not sure how to verify that.
