Default Low Thermo-switch Alternative part # 025 906 041A

So i called a couple dealerships around my area and they didn't have it in stock plus they wanted like $80 - $90 for the part which was crazy. Instead i did some searching around and i found a alt part #. I put in my car and for the first time i actually heard the electric pump and fan go on. The fan stays on for about 10 to 15 min

I think PureMS or Avalon could probably get you one for ~$10 or so.

Default FYI....

That's not the proper part type; what you have listed is a temperature sensor. You want a temperature switch.

Your sensor allows connection through all the time (like a resistor) which is why the fan turns on. But it's not run by temperature.

Your fan will likely come on everytime you shut off the car; or at least until the current burns out the sensor. It would have been cheaper to just jump the connector with a paper clip. $10 is an expensive paper clip but that is essentially what you did.

BTW, the system runs for 10 minutes. The system shuts down after 10 minutes regardless of temperature to protect the battery.
