Default labree dp's split pipe...

many ppl are saying they hang too low, i already have issues with clearance (24.75 all around) and i live in nyc. i have a 3" milltek, and it already hangs low: <img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/20532/resized_ass.jpg">

what other options are around??? (my first option was to go with milltek dp's but the promo is over, and theyre back up 2k, second place was/is awe dp/test pipes any thoughts on those in regards to height/hanging?)

Default I originally has ASP dp's but that was one issue I had with them, they

hung too low I felt. I went with AWE's and they fit very well.

Default do you run with testpipes on a daily basis?

if so do you encounter a cel's and/or emission codes on a daily basis?

I have ASP DPs and they don't hang low (nor does my Milltek 3" catback).

Default how did you go about tucking them up like that? how did you go around the dp's hanging low?

when the installer tried to tuck up the exhaust the piping would lean against the body and resonate through out the cabin (LOUD), "supposedly",thats the excuse they gave me for the hang. i would like to have it like yours <img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/6924/tips.jpg">

Default With everything pressed in as tightly as possible, that's how mine hangs.

Make sure they used a rubber mallet to drive each section of the exhaust together as tightly as possible.

If need be, they could bend the hangars to control how low the exhaust sits.

Default I agree I have the ASPs and don't think they hang too low

AWE's don't hang as low simply because the're smaller diameter after the turbo, they are 3" at the turbo, then taper down to 2.5".

Default do you or anyone here for that matter have photos of how low they hang?

is it visible from the side, or front of the car?
