i bought some item like a hardwire kit and something else, and they had the shipping as a couple dollars on the website. When i got it it was sent first class mail and was less than a dollar, I didnt really care and then looked at the bill in the package and they only charged me for the actual amount. I checked my credit card statement after and it was the same. Ive never had a company charge you less than what is stated on there website for shipping.

is that it has better support for adding a laser blinder which works in conjunction with the radar detector. I've got nothing against the V1 - it's a great unit, but it does seem to get more false alerts (very sensitive) and other detectors have partially caught up with it over the years in terms of distance detection. The arrows still rock.

I agree 100% The V1 needs to upgrade to catch up. The counter and the arrows are it's saving grace.
