Default I'm new to this...

Hey, i am a brand new owner of a 2000 S4. The car is stock, and i was wondering what to do with it. I have been told to get the APR ECU chip first thing, but i am concerned that it will put too much stress on the turbos. Should i be concerned about that?

How much is that going to run me? How much faster would that really make it?

Default chipping makes a huge dif. they claim it is within the efficiency range of the k03

but it certainly does stress them more. the fact of the matter is they might blow up if you leave them them stock so i say chip it, enjoy, and start saving...alot.

Default I would honestly say, having been down this road many times myself....

Do suspension as your very first mod and then look into brakes next. Even upgraded stock Components are great. I regret making my cars more powerfull and then playing catch up with the other stuff. On the software front, GIAC or go home.

Give the guys over @ STaSIS a look.
