Default I found a 2001 S4 6spd for $15,000. Maintenance is up to date, however owner doesn't have all of the

records on file. Plan on taking it for a test drive this weekend, what are your opinions? How much would you offer? Oh and it has 42K miles, all black with black leather and wood grain.

Default I paid 14,500 with 48k on the clock two years ago.

15 is too high if its stock imo. is this for you?

Yea it is for me. KBB is 12,000 but obviously with 42K miles he wants more. Bone stock.

Timing belt done yet? Should be done by age if not miles, and maybe would knock some off the price?

I don't believe the timing belt ha been done yet. Car came from Seattle and was garaged entire life.

Default agree with bingS4. if the timing belt is 8 years old it probably should be replaced soon.

knock off like 1,500.

Default low mileage isn't "everything"..could still need: control arms, wheel bearings, turbos, gaskets...

Seals at any time.

But that would be a shocker if he gets $3000 over blue book (which adjusts UP for low mileage).
