Default i absolutly have to buy new track tires tomorrow in a 255/40/17

i was going to go with KDW/2s again but i cant find any in stock. what are some other reasonably priced tires in a 255/40 or 245/40 17 fitment?

how are people liking the toyo t1rs, had them on my rabbit but its such a light/ different car i cant compare.

i will get r compounds if i can find them in stock, so thats an option also, but these will be street driven to and from the track

Default I ran these on the S2 and they were great, the 255's are a little more narrow than some other 255

track tires so fitment wasn't a problem.

Default 245/40 - 17 Goodyear F1 GSD3 on 17x8 here. VERY happy with em.

Quiet, great dry traction, awesome wet traction.

Default I run Hoosiers on my SCCA racer (VW Golf) and prefer them over the Goodyears and Toyos. More-

IU've also used Khumos but my fastest laps at Limefock and NHIS have been on the Hoosiers.

Here is a link to their specs page. The sports car DOT radials are revised for this year as well. Supposedly longer life due to improved wear characteristics (carcass design) but same sticky rubber... unlike Toyos which increase life by using a slightly harder and less sticky compound.

https://www.hoosiertire.com/rrtire.htm</a
