How much did you pay for your PHATBOX? Is $695.00 too much?

The best price I have been able to find is --->

Do you know what a Phatbox is? You know it isn't a large set of speakers....

From your comments, you seem to have misunderstood - I agree the name is misleading and pretty poor for a VW/Audi marketed product

I chose to get a Samsung i600 Smartphone w/ MP3 player instead.
Was thinking of the Phatbox, but I thought it was too expensive for something I could only use in my car.
I paid $369 for my phone, another ~$100 for a 512 MB SD card, and then got a stereo adapter from PocketPCtechs.com ($20) that hooks up my phone to my Blitzsafe adapter.
So now I can listen to MP3s in the car and when I take the phone out of the car, I can use my phone as a speakerphone through the symphony sound system, and do all sorts of other cool stuff (e.g. full internet and e-mail) I wouldn't be able to do with a phatbox.
