what are you asking exactly? Do you have multiple programs and are trying to switch back to the 93 or 91 octane program?

yeah. its set on the stock program and theres 4 other like pump race kill ext...
im trying to change it to Pump 91 , but when i connect wire to ecu then to the computer then open up the program it wouldnt find the wire that is in the ecu and from ecu to computer soo idk what to do.... what do you think its from

Well, I'm not familiar with the GIAC software. I had the APR stuff and with that you switched the programs by holding down on the button on one of the stalks.

It sounds like you need to install the correct drivers for that ECU to Computer connection. I would try to get in touch with the guys at GIAC.

Are you using a new ross-tech cable? If so you probably need to put int into "dumb" mode.

yeah im using the ross cable. it says it wouldnt recognize the usb cable on the computer cuz i open it up and press it on pump it wouldnt allow it so i dont know

Are you using Windows 7? If so, the GIAC flashloader will not work. Downloan new version of VAG-COM and reinstall the driver. Use windows XP if possible. You should not need dumb mode. Check that vag com can connect and log. If so then verify the flashloader program will "read" the GIAC chipped ECU. It should show in dark black what programs you have. (mine has pump gas and race gas, no stock or valet mode). If the text is black press the button.
