Default How long do people typically wait (not recommended, but actual) between synthetic (Mobil 1) changes?

I've had my oil for *maybe* 3000 miles (haven't checked exact records yet) and figured I could get some more miles down before a change. When I was in getting my tires rotated, they do a bunch of other checks and said that it's still okay, but looking a bit dirty and I might want to consider changing it relatively soon.

Just wondering what other people were seeing.

Default I have oil analysis done with Mobil 1 0W40 at 5000, 7500 and 9000 mile intervals.....

Blackstone labs says the oil was fit for continued use at all of the above change intervals.

I'm going about 7500 miles between changes now because it's a fairly easy # to remmeber when taking a quick glance at the odometer.

3000 mile interval changes are a joke with the new synthetics IMO.

Default perhaps.....but AWE tends to run rich, so i'd rather simple swap at 3500-4k to be safe

i should do a Blackstone analysis soon though
