Default Help for a new buyer 2001 audi s4

Hello all looks like ill finally be purchasing a audi s4 and im very excited however I was wondering if anyone thought this price is a little steep? I KBB and true market valued the car and the price I came up with was between 8-10k private party value. The person I talked to said there is alot of work and maintenance i.e timing belt flywheel turbos suspension... done to it which is why the price is more. It also is in very good condition clean car fax and maintenance records and has not been chipped. Thoughts or comments welcome! thanks all Ive never bought a new car before so Im just trying to do the right thing!

Price is high, getting close to what a stage III car sells for. If it was unmolested, one owner, no accident (real no accident, not just a clean carfax), all maintenance records and all work up to date, I'd say it might be worth KBB retail.

8.5-9k is a better price if the car is in good shape

I agree but there are only 4 b5s4's available (autotrader) for the year 2002 in like the whole united states. If anyone here is selling one please tell me or if any of you know of a good spot to look I would greatly appreciate it.
