I've been looking around the web and haven't found any info on my situation so i figure i'd run it by this forum. I have sidemount RS4 ICs behind my front bumper. I followed a nice walkthrough pdf and it went well. It went well but not perfect.

I havent been able to get the bumper to fit nicely like i want. The gap between the bumper and fender is too large for one. I haven't tried much adjustment just yet but wanted to get any info before pulling it off again, it's quite the wrestling match getting it on with those ICs, i'm not crazy about the job.

Another problem is that the AC line is routed under the passenger side intercooler and it pushes the bottom part of the bumper down a noticeable amount. Is there another way to route the AC line that i havent noticed? I believe an adjustment to the AC line placement will help me get that bumper to fender gap im looking for too. If anything I'll see where i can trim some more to get that better fit.

Any help is appreciated, as well as any successful rs4 ic bumper fitment pictures.

you have to cut away at the bumper insides. you need to cut the part that clips onto the fender clip.... not completely cut away, but a decent amount.

the AC line running under the IC hose is always like that ...

seems like you have a good handle on the situation - theres no magical "trick" that is going to make things magically line up. just do what you gotta do

Cut away at part of the fender clips huh? I'll have to take a good look at that, that I did not do. If I can get that fender to bumper seam flush I'll be a happy camper. Thanks. Is that your own setup? If so, have any photos?
