Got a pleasant visit yesterday! ....(turbo lady) long
Hey everyone, Just got a visit from the dreaded turbo lady. On a drive in the morning, oil temps up, got on it a tiny bit and all of a sudden i had ZERO boost. Drove home from where i was the whole time hearing a rattling coming from what sounded like the passenger side heatshield. Got home, removed downpipes (first time, heatshields were very annoying and were destroyed, ASP's were supposed to go in today.) got under and took a look at my turbo and the passenger side turbo seemed to have a McDonalds toy stuck inside of it! nope. It was the impeller wheel attatched to the shaft just bouncing around! the fins are obviously pretty messed up. So the car is in my garage now, and im ordering parts on monday for stage 3.
Reason i'm posting is... should i be worrying about parts of the turbo that might have gotten into the engine? how can i check? the oil? also i'm pretty set on Vast fueling, should i not go this route if it is a daily driver or does everyone think it's a good kit for DD?
also... if anyone in Chicago or northwest suburbs wants to help with a motor pull I will provide food and drinks!

I can only go by others at this point, but I'm pretty sure there is an
overwhelming amount of ppl who love VAST for DD use. tons of power. I'm ordering mine first thing tomorrow morning after being 3- with them for 5 months. I cant wait to annoy Prince first thing, it's my thing =]. So once I get it installed I can post back and let you know ALL about it!

very unlikely to have pats of the compressor wheel in the engine the ICs work as a filter
you could have broken compressor wheels parts in the pipe.
gotta take the intake side out to find out.
while engine is out do a compression test on it and a leak down test just to make sure.
Good luck.
