FYI: B5 S4 on all-seasons = VERY FUN IN SNOW.

Should be some good info in the archives or the web in general,
but the hardest thing coming from a rwd is to keep the throttle down when it gets sideways. Just keep the throttle steady or maybe slightly backed off and counter steer, and everything will come into line.
Its a differnt kind of slide with awd vs a rwd. Rwd is more like a planted front end and loose rear, where are awd feels more like a force pushing the car forward yet sideways.
For a manual its best to keep it in gear and maybe the revs slightly higher than usual so you can control the weight of the car when you need to.
There are various other tactics with awd, like adding power to get out of a sideways drift but it takes some experience, and is probably better left to someone else to explain.

Best tip...take your car to an empty lot with plenty of snow and go wild
reading how to do something will only get you so far. Put the car into a power on oversteer slide and snap off the throttle, you will be suprised just how fast the rear end will come around. Then teach yourself to modulate your throttle to drive out of that slide.
